“Before The Endgame” is as quirky as it is uplifting, and as entertaining as it is thought provoking.  A father/son relationship grows from a misunderstanding (do you like happy endings AND promising beginnings?), an actress in the role of waitress who’s really an actress in the role of a waitress, a stressed to the max cook, … and who wouldn’t like to see all of this getting interrupted by someone getting shot in the head?
