1 – It’s that time (it’s always _that_ time) when you need to make donations to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations, such as Nebraska Independent Film Projects, and potentially reduce your taxes!
2 – Donating will also support film making in Nebraska.
3 – Donating will help make “Before the Endgame” a better short film and, possibly, a feature film.
4 – You will be able to watch the film!
Nebraska Independent Film Projects (NIFP) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that acts as an educational and fiscal support group for Nebraska film makers. Your donations may be written off as a charitable donation on income tax returns and 5% of your donation is retained by the NIFP to support Nebraska film makers. La Suena Films will apply to the NIFP for a grant of 95% of donations towards the “Before The Endgame” film project. You’ll find details on the donation process below.

As of this writing, we’ve completed one day of shooting in Omaha NE, two days of shooting in Waverly NE, and an evening shoot in Garland NE. Another day and a half of shooting remain. Editing of footage has already begun.
For this project, cast and crew total between eight and twenty people. A day of shooting can be eight to twelve hours. People need to eat. Feeding 20 people for up to 12 hours over 4 days gives you a sample of budgetary needs. Cast and crew come from several places in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa and deserve compensation for gas. Our production team consists of very experienced people that know how to use their tools. This combination will provide a great looking & sounding film on schedule and within a reasonable budget. Many of the cast and crew take time off of 9-5 jobs, time away from families, and time away from a backlog of daily chores. They should be compensated for their time & effort. Other expenses may include insurance, permits, props, locations, costumes, etc. Any small individual donations would be greatly appreciated. Corporate donations (did I mention the tax benefits?) would be extremely helpful.

You can also send a check to the NIFP. The check MUST be made out to Nebraska Independent Film Projects and MUST be mailed to NIFP, 4901 N. 71st Street, Lincoln NE 68507. On the note line of the check, write “Before The Endgame” in order for the donation to be applied towards the current film project. A receipt will be mailed to you once the donation has been processed.
